Edwin Atherstone

Edwin Atherstone (Nottingham, 17 aprile 1788 – Bath, 29 gennaio 1872) è stato un poeta e drammaturgo britannico[1].
Atherstone scrisse il lungo poema epico The fall of Niniveh (Distruzione di Ninive) composto di 30 libri[2]. Sua seconda opera magna e poema Israel in Egypt (Israel in Egitto). Le opere di poeta sono scritte in blank verse.
