Utente:Enrico Ravanetti/Project
Obiettivi
modificaThe goal of the project is to show to the public the context in which the finds of the civic museum of Reggio Emilia where uncovered
Enti coinvolti
modificaCivic Museum of Reggio Emilia, Wikimuseums, Pro loco and schools of the small towns involved
Contenuti digitali
modifica3D reconstructions of the major finds and hi-resolution pictures of the less important ones, metadata linked to them able to explain the place of uncovering and the dating of the manufacts, as well as diffuse explanations of the importance and interpretetion of the finds, also by the mean of video explaining them realised by the student of elementary/middle schools of the town where the discoveries happened (whith a supervision of an archaeologist, obviously). It would be interesting also adding a 3D GIS rendering of the stratigraphy of the excavations, when those data are possible to be retrieved, since often the public has no idea of how an archaeological excavation is made, or at least a schematic stratigraphy of the excavation. Those data should be given to the public by the mean QR code found both in the museum next to the manufact and on the site of finding, so that the QR in the museum link the find to the site (showed on open street map) and vice-versa, inviting tourist to visit less known areas in our territory.
Di chi sono i diritti
modificaNot sure yet, but i think all the rights are already creative common licenses
In quali voci di Wikipedia intervenire, in quali lingue
modificaAll the intervention should be made at least in italian and in english in the beginning, but at least for the most important finds/sites it should be made in most european languages, as well as Arabic, Chinese, Russian...
The intervention should be made on the wikipedia pages of famous finds/sites, linking images and metadata uploaded in wikimedia commons, and also in open street map to add sites on the database.
