Gioventù ed educazione

Nata a Sheffield, Inghilterra, ha frequentato l'Università di Oxford e la London School of Economics. Si è trasferita in canada nel 1979.

Carriera

Ha lavorato per anni come giornalista, scrivendo regolarmente una colonna sulla politica nazionale per il Saturday Night e apparendo in tv e radio. Ha anche critto per Chatalaine, The Globe and Mail, the National Post e l'Ottawa Citizen.
